Mission Awareness
From the beginning of Evangelization and for the history of our congregation, mission awareness has been an integral part of Evangelization. To carry out mission awareness in the Church is to kindle a passion for evangelization and seek to involve as many people as possibly we can. Mission awareness aspires to open up every local Church to the mission ad gents, to communion and collaboration with other churches.
And as women consecrated to the proclamation of the gospel, we move into the mission ad gentes of the third millennium with humility, patience and courage. We don't hold back in giving of our strength and energy and we will continue tirelessly to advance the work of mission awareness so that the whole church may be involved in the mission ad gentes.
Vocation Promotion
Daniel Comboni wanted his followers to be Holy, courageous and capable women. Women inflamed with that charity which comes from God and from the love of Christ. Women who know how to suffer and die for Christ and the Africans.
Today we invest time and energy with the youth, making them more aware of who they area and paving ways where they cam five their best. Comboni had great trust in the youth of his time. We, his followers, trust in the youth of today. We know that they hold many qualities and have great potentialities to make of this world a better to live in.
Asylum Seekers
The world today more than yesterday is very insecure. People leave their homeland looking for a more secure and PEACEFUL place. As Comboni Missionaries Sisters we invest time and energies with the refugees and Asylum seekers especially women and children.
Parish Ministry
In spite of her age a Comboni Sister continues to can be active for the rest of her life. When the strength starts failing she can still bring Christ's healing and comfort to the housebound the lonely the sick and the dying. In a world she brings Christ to those who need him.
